Hayama has a tendacy to be aloof and non-chalant. Sana often compares him to a leopard, which in Japanese lore is a symbol for such qualities. So often Hayama will spout a pair of ears and a tail...ahhhhh-ha...
This is a pretty cut and dry project. The ears and tail were made in the same fashion that any cat cotume is made. Though props go out to Meg Porter and Heather McCollum for their help in this project.
The real showcase of this costume is the Babbit doll I made. Babbit, who is the show's mascot is prolly the most recognizable chara on the show, so it made my costume a bit easier to recognize. He was made in the same manner that any stuffed toy is made by cutting patterns and stitching and stuffing. Any sewing book can show you this technique. All you then need is an idea of what patterns you want to do. Mad probs go out to my mum for her sewing skills during this construction.
Oh! Before anyone asks, the answer is 'Yes, Babbit did help me meets lots of cute girls
who were curious about my little friend...
Hayama: Mrs. Kurata I have to ask you something...
Mama: Yes?
Hayama: That squirrel on your head...where does he crap?
